Methods of Payment

The City of Lancaster Utilities Collection Office offers several convenient ways to pay your utility bill. 

By Mail: Payments can be returned using the mailing envelope provided with the bill. 

In Person: You can simply pay in person at either of the following locations:

City of Lancaster Utilities Collection Office, 104 E. Main Street, P.O. Box 1099, Lancaster, OH 43130. Customer Service Representatives are available to receive your payment from 7:30 a.m. to 4:25 p.m., Monday through Friday. For customer convenience, a night depository is available for accepting utility payments day or night. The depository is located on the Broad Street side of the Municipal Building (City Hall) to the right of the steps. The depository is collected each business day morning. Any Fairfield National Bank location, as shown on the back of the utility bill. Please check each location for available hours. Fairfield National Bank personnel are only authorized to accept full bill amounts, as shown on the utility bill.

By Phone: EFFECTIVE MARCH 1, 2017, THE NEW PHONE NUMBER TO PAY BY CREDIT CARD WILL BE (740) 415-3099.  By calling 1-855-894-2389, you may pay your bill by Credit Card or e-check. Please be prepared with your billing and payment information before calling.

Online:  To pay your bill online by Credit Card or e-check, please follow the Pay Your Bill Online link here. In addition, we offer Automatic Pay, to most customers, in which your payment can be taken directly from your checking or savings account simply by providing basic account information.
