Winter Blues and Holiday Family Night

Friday, January 27th from 4:00pm to 12 noon

All 5th through 12th graders are welcome to come have an overnight experience sleeping in the Goslin Nature Education Center at Alley Park. They will be separated into two age groups, Middle School (5th-8th) and High School (9th-12th). Campers will enjoy nature activities that go along with the Project WILD curriculum. Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese martial art that is being taught in a gentle form of low impact exercise for adults, ages 18 & older. Practicing Tai Chi helps to support general mental and physical well being. It helps to improve lower body strength, balance, and flexibility. Its slow flowing movements help to calm the mind and reduce the stress and tension from every day life. Classes are at Alley Park's Goslin Nature Education Center, located at 2805 Old Logan Rd SE.
Intermediate Class time:  6:30 pm every Tuesday night.
Beginning Class time:  7:30 pm every Tuesday night
Cost: $25 per person per 4 week session.

Project WILD is a hands-on multidisciplinary curriculum supplement emphasizing wildlife conservation concepts. Activities are suitable for all ages and settings.
